"The 6th Jiaying College Funding Programme" organized by Hong Kong Meizhou Association was held in Guangdong Jiaying College from 11th to 13th November. Starlite has no hesitation taking part in this meaningful event. Starlite Chairman, Mr. Lam Kwong Yu and other well-known entrepreneurs went back to their homeland, Meizhou, to spread their love to the local people. They participated in the opening ceremonies of two academic buildings of Songkou Town in Meizhou, shared their experiences with the previous students of human resources training programme from Hong Kong and Singapore in seminars, took part in the “Send the Love” activities in Jiaying College, and visited the welfare centers in Meizhou.The delegation met face to face with the students of Jiaying University for a cordial conversation. With the generous support of Starlite staff, 200 thousands RMB were donated to Jiaying University by Starlite for helping 50 poverty-stricken students. This is certainly a fruitful end of “Send the Love” activities.
