Quality department has conducted training with objective to deliver quality knowledge across departments in Starlite (M) Sdn. Bhd. Training conducted is Quality Knowledge and Sampling Plan.

Quality knowledge course is designed to ensure QC inspectors and production staffs have better understanding in quality requirements and process control. One of important process control in quality is sampling plan.  Sampling plan in quality control provides statistically valid results of determine the sample is defect-free. This ensure that the entire lot meets the customer’s requirements for an Acceptable Quality Level (AQL).

AQL is a measure of the maximum number of defective goods that would be considered acceptable. AQL corresponds to the percentage of a production run that can be rejected before some corrective actions must be taken.  This course provides clear understanding on purpose of sampling plan and how to calculate the sampling size.  In Starlite Printers  (M) Sdn. Bhd., sampling plan table use as guideline is table MIL STD 105E.
